Tenn-Share was founded in 1992 with a mission to help Tennessee libraries deliver efficient, effective library services through group purchasing power and innovative sharing projects. Tenn-Share is responsible for serving all library types, including public, school, academic, and special. This presentation will describe and discuss Tenn-Share’s services and commitments to its member libraries, and will explore the connections between Tenn-Share and other Tennessee library organizations, e.g., TLA, TASL, FOTL, and the State Library & Archives. Tenn-Share’s organizational and governance structure will also be described, including the roles of the Executive Director, standing committees, and the Board of Directors as an active, hands-on, governing body.
